Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Deeds lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Areeno has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Areeno and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Areeno wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Deeds crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Areeno - the referee stops the clock and Deeds gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Areeno. Deeds manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Areeno is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Deeds is just riding it out for now. Areeno eventually gives up the hold.

Areeno shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Areeno was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Areeno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walt Heisenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyprien Noe Cyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Cyr's choice of entrance music: Gros Jambon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
