Canas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Canas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Res has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Canas has managed to get both his arms back between Res's legs - danger averted.
Canas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Res swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Canas is working hard here to advance position.

Canas is sitting in close to Res's body. Res has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Canas is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Canas is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Res.

Dux kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Countdown to Extinction. Laitamo has chosen Likanen Etelä: ADOD, Mc Rambo, Musta Jori & Serkku Toni - H.U.R.R.I as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Frajd gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Brown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Frajd has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frajd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Frajd's legs - danger averted.

Frajd looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Brown is defending well. Frajd quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm!
