The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Co shoots for a double leg takedown but Torromino sprawls well. He's pushed Co's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice body punch from Torromino.
A head kick misses from Torromino.

Torromino feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Torromino wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Co's closed guard. He's half up but Co has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Co pivots and extends the arm, Torromino falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Co! Well done that man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Hansen's head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Hansen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hansen keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones lands with an uppercut that bounces Hansen off the cage and back into range.
Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Hansen counters with a one-two to the body.
Hansen is looking to clinch.
Hansen tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hansen misses with a wild combination.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Hansen.

John looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fuse cracks John with a right hand to the side of the head.
John gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
John tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
John throws a lazy right hand but Fuse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
John throws a jab but it's blocked by Fuse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fuse feints and then cracks John's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow John down.
John misses with a hook.
Fuse lands a really nice looking cross but John seems unphased.

and Fuse counters with a left and a right that stings John.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fuse lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and John has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from John and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
John throws a lazy right hand but Fuse sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fuse drops John with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but John looks back up at him and smiles so Fuse waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

John is rocked!
Fuse drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of John's head, knocking him out cold! Fuse is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Short Fuse!
In his post fight interview, Short Fuse started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
