Liddell looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Liddell backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Willis's temple! It sends Willis violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Liddell celebrates and the doctors try to help Willis!

Hemsky's entrance music is Onward to Victory. A fine choice. Sarkisyan has chosen George Michael - Careless Whisper as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ladislav Hemsky had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jealous Jarvae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vargas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Can't be touched. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Jarvae chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vargas can pounce on him.

Jarvae's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Jarvae tries to land a front kick but Vargas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Jarvae is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?
Jarvae does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Vargas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jarvae.
Jarvae moves out of range of the leg kick from Vargas.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Vargas enables Jarvae to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vargas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jarvae wants to advance to full mount but Vargas doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Jarvae working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vargas's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Jealous Jarvae.
