Undercard bout

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evander Tripp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karate's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Keith Murray - Slap Somebody. Tripp has chosen Bad Company - The Nine as his entrance music. Karate is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Tripp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Karate is breathing heavily.
Karate slips a straight right by Tripp.

Tripp drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tripp is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tripp throws a big right hand that misses.
Tripp pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karate is keeping the position for now.
Tripp stands up over Karate, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tripp sitting in guard here, content to control.
Tripp postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tripp must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tripp's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tripp distracts Karate with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tripp connects with a nice short shot to Karate's temple.

Tripp thows a huge punch but Karate dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Crawford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Chuck Norris - Eyes of a Ranger. Norris has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The key to victory for Brian Crawford has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Crawford is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Norris hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Chan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Chan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Deng avoids a wild elbow strike from Chan.
Chan pushes Deng back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Deng prevents a body shot from Chan.
Chan pushes off an throws an elbow but Deng leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Chan.

It looks like Omen Deng has been cut.
Chan misses with an elbow strike.
Deng is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

That has opened up Omen Deng's cut even more.

Frost is looking to sinch up a triangle. Poulsen throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Frost's body to avoid the submission. Frost has instead reached around Poulsen's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Frost arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Knight seems to have recovered his senses.
Knight walks straight into a right hand from Sheet - that's dropped him! Sheet jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Knight from any more punishment! Knight complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Behnder escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rei gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
