Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chew Bacca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bacca comes into the arena with 3rd world! blaring out of the sound system. Kotaro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dance Yourself Clean. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Kotaro counters with a straight right hand.

Kotaro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bacca but Bacca pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kotaro moves in looking to clinch but Bacca pushes him off.
Kotaro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bacca tries to avoid it but Kotaro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bacca to the ground. Bacca escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kotaro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kotaro has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bacca uses from the top position.

Well Kotaro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
