The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ishimaru throws a hook to the side of Pingshaw's head but Pingshaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pingshaw throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Pingshaw is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ishimaru misses the shot to the body.
Pingshaw fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ishimaru's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pingshaw under the eye.
Pingshaw throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ishimaru throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Ishimaru moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ishimaru is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pingshaw is pushing down on Ishimaru's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ishimaru is fighting to maintain full guard but Pingshaw has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pingshaw has hold of Ishimaru's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ishimaru manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Pingshaw takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pingshaw is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ishimaru is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ishimaru flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Pingshaw anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ishimaru and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Pingshaw slips an arm under Ishimaru chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Pingshaw has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Pingshaw is squeezing on Ishimaru like an anaconda would it's prey. Ishimaru fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
