Sloppy strikes from Buffet. Those never looked like landing.
Buffet misses with a few strikes there.
Layfield circles away from the clinch attempt.
Buffet tries to clinch up.

Buffet throws a left and a right that both miss
and Layfield counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Buffet throws out a loose jab but Layfield uses good head movement to avoid it.
Layfield scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

It looks like Richolas Buffet has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Layfield, as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Buffet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Buffet displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Layfield uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Buffet.
Buffet looks to land a combination but Layfield avoids it well.
Layfield shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Buffet thows a left - swing and a miss!
Buffet swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Layfield counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Buffet looks gassed!
Layfield lands with a right and another and another! Buffet is in big trouble! Layfield lands again and this time it's lights out for Buffet! A quality knockout there for Layfield.

A relieved looking John Layfield thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Js controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Js is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Collten is trying to control the position but Js postures up.
Js is looking to work some ground and pound but Collten has wrist control.
Collten is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Js wants to control from the top but Collten keeps moving.

Js slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Collten.
Js lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Js thows a huge punch but Collten dodges it nicely.
Js working over Collten with some ground and pound. Collten looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Js seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Collten does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Collten is trying to get back to full guard.
Js seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Js takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Js is keen to just control but Collten is a slippery customer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Js uses his free foot to push down on Collten's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Collten.
The referee warns Collten that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Js fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Js wants to control the pace but Collten is squirming around nicely.

Js working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Collten turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Js off and cradles Collten's limp body as Js celebrates with his corner.

Roy darts in and clinches Brookins up against the cage.

Roy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Brookins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Brookins prevents Roy from getting the reversal.
Brookins throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Roy reaches up to try and control the position but Brookins seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Roy rolls and tries to escape and now Brookins has his back!

I would not like to be Roy right now.

Brookins has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roy has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Roy tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Roy wants to hold on but Brookins pushes him away.

Brookins is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Roy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Roy!
Brookins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Brookins manages to get his head free but now Roy has transitioned to an armbar! Brookins grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Roy! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Lauderdale displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barbosa.
Barbosa misses with a takedown attempt
and Lauderdale counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Lauderdale lands a left and a right that send Barbosa crashing to the mat, dazed. Lauderdale thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Andre Barbosa has been cut.
Lauderdale lands a jab to Barbosa's midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barbosa walks straight into a right hand from Lauderdale - that's dropped him! Lauderdale jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Barbosa from any more punishment! Barbosa complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

and Omega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Omega misses with a low kick.
Omega moves out of range of the body kick.
Hammer lands a nice looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Omega with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hammer to score with a decent uppercut.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hammer lands a leg kick that knocks Omega off balance momentarily.
Hammer moves out of range as Omega throws a body kick.
Omega goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
No joy there for Omega, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Black Hammer seems to be getting the better of the standup.
