Breakdown: A lot of huge fights and results last week in the bantamweight division. First off, we have to mention (C) Dewey Decimal cracking (#1) Bardia Farrokhzad’s streak of 6 straight title fight wins. This was a long awaited rematch as Bardia original started his streak when he took the belt from Decimal and 5 fights later for Dewey he was able to redeem himself and defeat a man who looked unbeatable. We also have some other contenders that emerged. (#2) Juan Corona improved to 2-0 with a win over the debuting, former Checkmate champ, Emiliano Blackburn. Corona may have a chance at a title shot next. (#3) Harti Kraus also kept his name in the debate for the next title shot. He followed up a loss to Bardia in his last fight with a close win over (#10) Denis Denisov. Former Champion (#12) Darrion Vaughn also jumped up from #15 to #12 with four wins in his last five fights.

Breakdown: (#6) Timo Bader moves up one slot after getting back in the win column with his TKO victory over skidding, but tough Cayden Donovan. (#1) Vladimir Kosmanov solidifies himself as the new #1 contender after a statement win over the debuting, former BFC fighter Jay Calico. Kosmanov has now one two in a row including a win over the aforementioned challenger and has been booked as Guillherme Goncalves’ next challenger at WCF 76 on June 12th. Speaking of Goncalves, he retained his lightweight title this week with a stunning spinning backfist KO of (#2) Julius Turunen. Goncalves pulled off the Hail Mary KO in the last minute of a fight which he was most likely down 4 rounds to none. With the way the first 24 minutes of the fight went I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a rematch with Turunen down the line.

15. Tylonal Jones (9-9)
16. Domaydo Cann (6-3)

Breakdown: Bruce Vanorden hops into the rankings at #4 taking the man he finished last Wednesday spot, Tommy Sausagestrong. This was a huge win for Vanorden after losing a tough test in his WCF debut against Ovidio Kiran. (#5) Marcellus Legionarius jumps into the top-5 with a KO of the Night performance over Lars Kraulthammer who was riding a 3-fight win streak. 14. William Lati (14-8)
15. Kron Gracie (9-7)

Breakdown: (#5) Jacques Chaize leap-frogged (#6) Balink Tarlah in this weeks lightweight rankings after a vicious KO of the Night win over Tarlah at WCF 70: Garcia vs Nail. After a rough 0-3 stretch to start his WCF tenure Chaize has flipped the switch and ran through tough opponent after tough opponent to tally a 4-fight win streak and is pushing towards title contention. The only other change comes in the form of (#13) Peter Kiloe who vaults into the rankings with a win over now #14 William Lati. Breakdown: There are some big changes at 170 this week. Sergei Volkov has entered free agency and, while a return to WCF is not out of the question, he has been removed from the official WCF rankings. With a win over former WCF lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, former title challenger (#3) Seemah Feet is making his case for another push towards the title. (#6) Cesare Borgia rises a spot after a bounce back win to improve his WCF record to 5-1 and sets himself up for a big clash with the newly signed Milo Vincente at WCF Wednesday Night Fights 56. WCF WNF is shaping up to be a fantastic card as it will also feature a potentially title eliminator between #2 ranked Sasha Rua and the aforementioned (#3) Seemah Feet.
