The winners of the Royal MMA End of Year Awards have now been decided.
This marks the conclusion of our first full year as an organisation and the first official Hall of Fame inductions via the annual awards.
Award Winners
Fighter of the Year: Cam Aspinall (15–1)
Cam closed out 2025 with a statement win over King Kooljak, finishing the year 15–1 at Royal MMA. He will be inducted into the Royal MMA Hall of Fame.
Manager of the Year: Viktor Volkov
Viktor capped the year with three major wins across the final cards of 2025. He will be inducted into the Royal MMA Hall of Fame.
Fight of the Year: Rory Curtis vs Kai Kataski
At the time of the bout, Curtis was 14–0 and the 145 lb Champion, while Kataski was 12–0 and the 135 lb Champion. Five rounds of dominant grappling from Curtis secured the win in a superfight that ended Kataski’s undefeated run.
Knockout of the Year: Temujin Choibalsan
Slam KO over Adriano Dos Santos. While slams are rare at Royal MMA, this was the only one this year to render an opponent unconscious and received the majority of votes.
Submission of the Year: Tout Petit Gigante
Triangle choke against Zoltan Szentgyorgi. After being dominated for nearly five rounds, Gigante secured the submission with just three seconds remaining to retain his title.
Breakout Fighter of the Year: Roka Magyar (9–0)
Roka ended the year undefeated with another title defence, scoring five knockdowns before finishing his opponent with a spinning backfist.
All performance award winners will receive a $25,000 bonus.
Thank you to everyone who voted and contributed to making Royal MMA’s first full year a success.
