No, Paruzzi has managed to get both his arms back between Neil's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paruzzi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Paruzzi works a leg free and moves into half guard. Paruzzi controlling the action here. We've been informed that Wright has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Carter Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wright with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Neil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kanaani paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kanaani swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Neil. Kanaani could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Neil scores with a nice right hand.
