#R1##CL# Abuladze moves into range and clinches up with Malponos.#TD2# Malponos turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Malponos manages to end up in side control.#SUB2# Malponos wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Abuladze, who protects the arm well. #SUB2# Malponos is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Abuladze has escaped the position, nice work there. Malponos working away.#SUB2# Malponos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. #SUB2# Malponos thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Abuladze manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!#T1# Abuladze perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abuladze's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Abuladze is pressing down on Malponos's thigh, looking to free his foot. Malponos is holding on for now. Abuladze trying to control the pace. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Malponos is trying to get back to full guard. Malponos drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Abuladze dives on top into guard.#REVR# Abuladze not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Abuladze trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Malponos trying to control the position.
Abuladze might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Abuladze is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Abuladze trying to control the position from guard on top but Malponos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Abuladze controls from within his opponent's guard. Malponos managing to control the position. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Abuladze trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Malponos being controlled here, momentarily. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#CL# Abuladze takes the fight into the clinch. Abuladze controlling the action here for a moment.

Abuladze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Abuladze is figuring out what he wants to do next. Abuladze is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Malponos can do to turn this around?#T4# Abuladze wants to take a breather but Malponos is having none of it. Abuladze wants to advance to full mount but Malponos doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abuladze is pushing down on Malponos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Malponos is fighting to maintain full guard but Abuladze has managed to sneak the leg through. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Abuladze is stalling here. Malponos is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Abuladze seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Malponos has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. #SUB2# Malponos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Malponos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tariel Abuladze will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!#R3# Abuladze fails with a takedown attempt. Abuladze shoots for a double leg takedown but Malponos sprawls well. He's pushed Abuladze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #CL# Abuladze clinches with his opponent.

#SUB2# Malponos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Abuladze looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Abuladze looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Abuladze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malponos swivels though and keeps the full guard. Abuladze controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Abuladze wants to control from the top but Malponos keeps moving. Abuladze is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Abuladze works a leg free and moves into half guard. #T3# Malponos wants to control but Abuladze is keeping busy.

And that's the end of the fight! Tariel Abuladze showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Abuladze, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1##TD2# Usman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Usman trying to control the pace. Let's hope that Usman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Usman is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Malponos seems keen to control Usman's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malponos keeping moving, preventing Usman from controlling successfully. Malponos is controlling Usman's posture.#T1##REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.#TD2# Malponos gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Usman to score an easy takedown into full guard. Usman is looking to advance position but Malponos has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!#REVR##SUB# Malponos is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Malponos!
