Lonergan is trying to defend but Nakamura finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lonergan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nakamura is working away from the top position though. Nakamura controlling the pace. Lonergan won't allow Nakamura to pass to mount. Nakamura passes the guard and advances to mount! #SUB# Nakamura looking to secure an arm triangle but Lonergan defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakamura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lonergan for as long as he can get away with. Nakamura continues to stall. Lonergan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nakamura. #R1##TD2# Tran throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Petrovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Tran finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tran trying to control the position from guard on top but Petrovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB2# Tran has gone for a leg lock! Petrovic slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tran's guard.#REVR# Tran utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tran wants to stand and escape but Petrovic is having none of it. #SU# Petrovic gets to his feet - Tran follows without any prompting. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Petrovic. Tran throws a body punch but Petrovic moves out of range. Petrovic throws a big counter combination but Tran scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Petrovic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And Tran tries to counter it with a takedown but Petrovic pushes his down on his head and steps out.#T1# Petrovic lands a head kick!
#CUT#It looks like Nathen Tran has been cut. Tran throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tran gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Petrovic.#ROC#Tran is rocked! Petrovic Throws a clean left jab. Petrovic Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Tran's chin! Tran crumbles to the ground and Petrovic follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Petrovic!

#R1# Walker wants to clinch#TD# and Velasquez counters with a shoot takedown. Walker fights it but they end up in guard. #SUB# Velasquez drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Velasquez jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Walker is trying to control the position from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velasquez wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position. Velasquez trying to control but Walker is working from the bottom. Velasquez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. #T1# Walker keeping moving, preventing Velasquez from controlling successfully. Walker can't keep his opponent in guard - Velasquez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Velasquez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Velasquez mounts Walker! Really nice guard pass there! Walker can't escape the position.

#R1##TD# Crews looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Yevseyev! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crews working away. Crews is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Yevseyev's shoulder. That is not cool. Crews is looking to take a break and control but Yevseyev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Crews working the ground and pound but Yevseyev is defending the strikes. Yevseyev tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Crews wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Crews has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crews lands a decent elbow from side control. #SUB# Crews is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Yevseyev has escaped the position, nice work there. Crews wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yevseyev keeps working. #T1# Yevseyev is trying to escape the position but Crews is controlling the position. Yevseyev can't do much from the bottom here. Crews controls the position.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crews throws an elbow but Yevseyev slips to the side and avoids it well. Jacob Crews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emil Yevseyev. Yevseyev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Yevseyev slaps away a takedown attempt from Crews, before circling back to the center of the mat. Crews is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yevseyev can do to turn this around?
