Sowler throws a series of punches but Poli moves out of range. Sowler comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sowler scores with a nice strike. Arun Sowler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poli takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Sowler lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sowler. Sowler scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.#CL# Poli gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sowler being controlled against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Poli - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poli tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sowler just stands there and leans against the cage.#BC# Poli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Poli needs to keep his hands up - Sowler had a free shot at his head there. Sloppy strikes from Sowler. Those never looked like landing. Sowler misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sowler throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Poli takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sowler lands a jab to the head.

#R1# A low kick from Rianin misses #TD2# and Meazzo counters with a takedown into side control. A lull in the action here. Rianin is trying to improve his position. Rianin takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Rianin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Meazzo on the ground. Rianin on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Rianin takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Meazzo advances to mount. #T1# Meazzo breaks from Rianin's wrist control and lands an elbow. Oh Rianin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Meazzo controlling from the full mount. Rianin seems to have got his legs back now. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Meazzo! Rianin is out cold! This one is all over!

#R1##CL# Mason clinches up against the cage. Mason fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mason misses with a short punch on the inside. Broad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A short right hand to the side of the head by Mason. Mason lands a hook that snaps the head of Broad backwards. Broad takes a shot to the head. Broad tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mason gets underhooks to prevent Broad's takedown attempt.
Cash Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Broad. A nice right hand lands inside from Mason. A short left from Mason. A short right from Mason. Mason throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Broads head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A head punch blocked on the inside by Broad. Broad is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. A short right from Mason on the inside. Mason lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. #ROC#Broad is rocked! Mason working aggressively here.

Mason dips a shoulder and cracks Broad with a mighty uppercut! Broad falls back against the cage and Mason unloads with a barrage of strikes! Broad is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mason screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

#R1##TD# Meazzo shoots in and bounces Van Toney off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Van Toney is wriggling around but Meazzo manages to pass to half guard.

Meazzo is looking to advance position but Van Toney won't allow it. Meazzo controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Meazzo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Meazzo passes the guard and advances to mount! Meazzo controlling the position easily from mount. #T1# Meazzo is landing with some decent strikes but Van Toney is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Van Toney tries to reverse the position but Meazzo maintains control. Meazzo looking to finish Van Toney with some ground and pound. This is bad for Van Toney! Van Toney can't escape the position.

The ref calls for Van Toney to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
