and Toprak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pereira pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Toprak was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Toprak avoids the head kick by Pereira.
Toprak throwing a counter right hand but Pereira manages to avoid it.
Pereira misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pereira fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Toprak on the side of the head.
Pereira misses with a takedown attempt
and Toprak counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nice defenses there by Pereira.
Charles Pereira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pereira shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Toprak defends it nicely.
Toprak was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ahmed Toprak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Pereira.

and Toprak scores with a counter punch that sends Pereira to the canvas! Toprak smells blood - he's punishing Pereira with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Pereira has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ralph gets in close and instigates a clinch. #TD#
Ralph is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Yudi can't fight it off and eventually Ralph manages to take the fight to the floor. Yudi looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Yudi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ralph doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ralph manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ralph postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ralph is in close to Yudi's body, working some short punches and elbows.#ROC#Yudi is rocked!
Ralph arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Yudi's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Tadeu fails with a takedown attempt.
Gabriel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nice takedown defense from Gabriel. No joy for Tadeu on that attempt. #TD#
Gabriel feints and as Tadeu raises his hands in defense, Gabriel changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gabriel throws an elbow that misses. Tadeu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gabriel's guard. Nice move by Tadeu!#REVB#

John gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Prates to score an easy takedown into full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if John can do anything to dispel that myth.
