Alvino throws a right and a left that Petrov avoids nicely.
Petrov shoots for a double leg takedown but Alvino sprawls well. He's pushed Petrov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #TD2#
Petrov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Petrov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Alvino is trying to stand back up but Petrov is controlling him
Petrov slips a nice elbow through Alvino's hands, connecting with Alvino's forehead.
Petrov winds up and cracks Alvino with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petrov loads up on a big left hand. Alvino felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Petrov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Alvino can't hide his disappointment, as Petrov celebrates the victory.
