#R1# Linnen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Linnen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Griffin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Griffin appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Griffin counters with a shoot takedown. Linnen fights it but they end up in guard. Griffin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#SU2# Griffin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Linnen tries to clinch up but Griffin circles away and keeps his distance. It seemed like Griffin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Linnen tries to clinch but Griffin is having none of it. Griffin changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Linnen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Linnen wants to clinch up but Griffin keeps it at a distance. Linnen fails in his attempt to clinch. It seemed like Griffin was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Griffin keeps the fight on the outside. Griffin with the counter takedown but Linnen avoids it easily. Gustav Linnen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1# Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Griffin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Griffin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Linnen tries to kick Griffin off but Griffin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. #SU2# Griffin stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Linnen tries to clinch up. Linnen tries to clinch up. Griffin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Linnen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Griffin keeps the fight on the outside. Griffin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Linnen moves in looking to clinch but Griffin pushes him off. Griffin drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Linnen defends it well. Linnen tries to close the distance and clinch but Griffin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL# Linnen moves into the clinch. Linnen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Griffin.

Griffin circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Griffin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Linnen won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Griffin tries for a kimura but Linnen is defending well. Griffin is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Linnen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Griffin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. A lull in the action here as Griffin stalls from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T3##SUB2# Griffin has hold of Linnen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Linnen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Griffin cranks the arm and Linnen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Linnen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

#R1##TD# Morkvansen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Spitzarov's guard. Spitzarov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Spitzarov can't keep his opponent in guard - Morkvansen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #SUB# Morkvansen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB# Morkvansen is trying for a kimura here. Spitzarov looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Morkvansen wins by kimura!

#R1# Shubz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gillson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shubz somewhat. Gillson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Shubz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. And Shubz tries to counter it with a takedown but Gillson pushes his down on his head and steps out.#KD# Gillson lands a big right hand that sends Shubz crashing to the mat! Gillson stays standing though and waves Shubz back to his feet!#ROC#Shubz is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Elliot Shubz has been cut. Shubz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gillson defends well and Shubz ends up having to push Gillson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Shubz is still on wobbly legs! Can Gillson finish him? Shubz walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Shubz limp body while Gillson jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

#R1# A nice combination there by Buster.
Spiranov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Spiranov somewhat. Spiranov has a takedown stuffed. Buster throws a big counter combination but Spiranov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Buster wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Spiranov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Buster cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gip Buster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Spiranov. Spiranov fails with the takedown and Buster makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Spiranov looks winded! Nice body punch from Buster. Spiranov takes a body punch but keeps moving. #KD# Buster sends Spiranov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Buster is motioning to the referee to let Spiranov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC#Spiranov is rocked!#CUT#It looks like Mark Spiranov has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buster jabs Spiranov to the body, keeping him at a distance. Spiranov is still on wobbly legs! Can Buster finish him? Buster is looking to wear down Spiranov with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Buster lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Spiranov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Buster from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Spiranov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
