#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Webb is defended easily by Bulldog. Webb throws a right and a left that Bulldog avoids nicely. Bulldog throws a head kick that misses. Webb misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bulldog tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Webb manages to circle out of the way. Webb fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Scott Webb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Webb misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jose Bulldog has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Scott Webb. Webb shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bulldog pinned against the cage. Bulldog gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Webb uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bulldog. Bulldog shoots in for a takedown but Webb shows good takedown defense. Webb throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bulldog. Webb tries to clinch but Bulldog is having none of it. Alejandro is wriggling around but Frost manages to pass to half guard.
#REVR# Frost working the head and body with strikes. Alejandro wants to get back to his feet. Frost keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Frost is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Frost seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Frost slips a nice elbow through Alejandro's hands, connecting with Alejandro's forehead. Frost passes to full mount! Alejandro tries to buck Frost off but Frost takes his back! Decent striking displayed by Saryev there. Pollard moves out of range of the strikes. Saryev bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Saryev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pollard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saryev scrambles back to his feet. Saryev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pollard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Pollard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
