Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McBade moves away. McBade misses with a right hand and Tyson counters with a nice body shot. McBade misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tyson cracks McBade with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. A combination from Tyson does no damage. McBade doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tyson counters with a three punch combo that has McBade backing up. McBade nods at Tyson to acknowledge the strikes. Martin Tyson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slade McBade. McBade throws a right and a left that both miss. Tyson cracks McBade with a good jab. McBade misses with a jab, cross combination.

Cha Ji Sung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emanuel Mosley. Mosley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ji Sung paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ji Sung throws the left hand but Mosley avoids the punch easily. And Mosley responds with a good body kick, but Ji Sung manages to step out the way in time.#TD# Ji Sung is looking for a takedown here. That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Shelton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Szewczyk slaps away a takedown attempt from Shelton, before circling back to the center of the mat. Shelton throws a right and a left that Szewczyk avoids nicely. Szewczyk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Szewczyk sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Shelton's defenses. It connects perfectly with Shelton's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

#R1# Tavernelli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mosley moves away. Nice defenses there by Mosley. Tavernelli fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mosley looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Emanuel Mosley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Tavernelli gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mosley to score an easy takedown into full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tavernelli holds on and takes a little breather. Tavernelli is continuing to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mosley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tavernelli swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tavernelli tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T1##SUB2# Mosley sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Lothbrok won't be happy with that. #SUB2# Agard has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Lothbrok is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Agard yanks on the arm and Lothbrok is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Agard.

McBade has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lasso after a bit of a struggle. McBade has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lasso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lasso scores with a hook to the body. Lasso gets underhooks to prevent McBade's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Slade McBade. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lasso gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McBade.
