Albertini has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Albertini went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Albertini grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Albertson takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Albertini cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montanti circles away quickly and effectively.
Thomas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Montanti throws the left hand but Thomas avoids the punch easily.
Thomas misses with the combination.
Thomas tries to bum rush Montanti with a series of wild strikes but Montanti uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Albertini stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Albertini wants it to stay on the feet.
Albertini was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Albertini fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hones is out of range.
Hones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Albertini sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Imanaga tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tavernelli paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Imanaga flicks out a counter leg kick but Tavernelli steps away.
Tavernelli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Imanaga moves away.
Imanaga should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tavernelli connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Imanaga momentarily.
Tavernelli closes the distance and clinches up with Imanaga, looking for a takedown. Tavernelli pushes Imanaga against the cage but Imanaga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tavernelli fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Imanaga sprawls well initially but Tavernelli persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tavernelli is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Imanaga reverses the position - he's now on top in Tavernelli's guard.

Lozano has instead reached around Bane's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lozano arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
