Trainer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Garza looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Garza takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Garza closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. #CL#
Garza has managed to clinch.
Trainer is trying to force a seperation but Garza has the dominant position.
Trainer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Garza's elbow.
Trainer has had enough of the clinch but Garza keeps him there for the moment.
Trainer tries to circle away but Garza has him pinned against the cage.#BC#
Garza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD#
Garza dives in and scores a takedown into Trainer's guard.
Trainer wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Garza manages to pass to side control. #REVB#
Trainer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trainer is trying to stand up here but Garza is controlling him well. #T1#
Garza slows the pace down in half guard.
Garza seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Garza is taking a breather. Trainer says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Garza seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Trainer for as long as he can get away with.#SU#

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A jab lands there for Trainer.

Garza misses with a lunging right hand
and Trainer counters with a one-two to the body.
Trainer rushes Garza with punches - Garza moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Garza goes down! Trainer follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Foley throws a head kick that misses #TD2#
and Ortega counters with a shoot takedown. Foley fights it but they end up in guard.
Ortega won't allow Foley to sweep him here.
Ortega slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Ortega controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ortega scores with a couple of nice shots.#SU2#

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Faulkner is in all sorts of trouble here.
Faulkner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB2#
Trevino quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Trevino but it's paid off an Faulkner is forced to tap! Nice work by Trevino.

Chen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Laime swinging wildly here.
Chen really is a fat lump.#TD#
Chen scores with a takedown into Laime's guard.
Chen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Laime swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Laime looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Chen stays in close to Laime's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chen drops back looking for a leg! Laime is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Laime manages to kick Chen off! Chen jumps back into Laime's guard.

Nice body kick there by Laime.
Chen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Chen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Laime but Laime pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Laime shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Chen eats them both and turns towards Laime to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Chen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Laime's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Chen postures up in Laime's guard and throws a big left but Laime blocks it.

Laime has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Laime looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Chen! Submission of the night perhaps?

and Hornton counters with a nice double leg into side control. Shah won't be happy with that.
Hornton works to advance to full mount. Shah defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hornton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.#T1#

Hornton scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
Hornton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Shah is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Hornton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#SUB2#
Hornton is working for a rear naked choke. Shah is not defending it well and Hornton has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Shah refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Shah's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Dorsey has had enough of the clinch but Bautista keeps him there for the moment.

Bautista manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Bautista is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dorsey throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bautista's body to avoid the submission. Bautista has instead reached around Dorsey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bautista arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
