#R1# No luck with that takedown attempt from Maluga. Redscale looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Redscale misses with an attempted mid kick.
#TD# Maluga dives in and scores a takedown into Redscale's guard. Redscale looks winded! Maluga controlling from the top position. #SU# Maluga stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maluga throws a looping overhand right but Redscale ducks down to avoid it. Miguel Maluga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Maluga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Redscale is trying to maintain the position but Maluga is very close to passing his half guard. Maluga slows the pace down in half guard. #T1##SUB# Maluga is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Maluga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Redscale keeps working. Redscale wants to get back to his feet.
Maluga is looking to advance position but Redscale won't allow it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. We'll restart on the feet.#CL# Maluga gets a clinch. Redscale has had enough of the clinch but Maluga keeps him there for the moment. Redscale has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Maluga is working for takedown but Redscale is calmly controlling the position for now. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Maluga dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.#T3# Redscale goes for a takedown in the clinch but Maluga prevents it.

Miguel Maluga dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2# Jab by Redscale.#TD2# Redscale gets a double leg takedown into Maluga's guard. Maluga is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Redscale presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Redscale tries to pull guard but Maluga won't allow it.

Maluga is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Redscale pulls him back up using the underhooks. Maluga keeps control of Redscale as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. #TD# Maluga has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Redscale uses from the top position. #SUB# Redscale is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Maluga has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Redscale is looking to defend but Maluga has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Redscale! Maluga pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Redscale taps out and this one is all over!
