Filipovic is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Boonen presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Boonen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Filipovic's half guard.

Filipovic has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Boonen is on him like a limpet, forcing Filipovic back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Emelianenko tries to land a front kick but Romero steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
It seemed like Romero was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.#TD#
Emelianenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB2#
