McCrae throws a right hand that misses
and Yanbaev counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McCrae cracks Yanbaev with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Yanbaev falls to his knees and McCrae doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gus McCrae!
Gus McCrae very nearly forgot to thank Brooklyn Apothecary amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

#R1#
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozad wants to clinch#TD2#
and Sergeev counters with a shoot takedown. Cozad fights it but they end up in guard.
Sergeev controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like Sergeev might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cozad not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sergeev passes Cozad's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sergeev frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sergeev sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. #SUB2#
Sergeev throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Cozad has his hands clasped together but Sergeev breaks the hold and Cozad is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sergeev!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ivan Sergeev!
