Schilling moves into the clinch.

Schilling dips a shoulder and cracks Xavier with a mighty uppercut! Xavier falls back against the cage and Schilling unloads with a barrage of strikes! Xavier is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Schilling screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Rua avoids the head kick by Xavier.
A head kick misses from Rua.
Rua doesn't manage to clinch there - Xavier circles away.
Rua throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Xavier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Xavier moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rua takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Rua with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Rua is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Xavier is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xavier tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rua smiles and moves away.

Rua shoots in looking for a takedown but Xavier manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rua's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Xavier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rua tries to avoid it but Xavier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rua to the ground. Rua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Xavier thows an elbow strike that misses. Rua gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Xavier doesn't seem too bothered but Rua quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Xavier is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Xavier really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
