Nunez has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Carter is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.#TD2#
Carter pulls guard successfully.
Nunez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nunez postures up in Carter 's guard and throws a big left but Carter blocks it.
Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Carter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nunez defends well.

Carter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nunez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
