Horrible takedown attempt by McGee or perhaps it was just good defense by Viikinki, which made it look bad.
McGee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Viikinki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Viikinki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
McGee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Viikinki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Viikinki lands an uppercut, right on the button! McGee tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tony Viikinki!
After the fight, Tony Viikinki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Ayers loads up on a big left hand. Moneymaker felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ayers looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Moneymaker can't hide his disappointment, as Ayers celebrates the victory.

Holmes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Holmes lands a knee to the head.
Mouse drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holmes gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Holmes prevents Mouse from breaking the clinch.

Mouse tries to pull guard but Holmes won't allow it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mickey Mouse. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A fake to the body and Holmes gets the Thai clinch. He wastes no time and tries to connect with knees to the head. This is dangerous for Mouse! He should get out! Another devastating knee and Mouse falls head first to the ground. It's all over!

Ko Machine gets caught flat footed, as Yes shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.#SUB#
Ko Machine has his foot on Yes 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yes works his way back into a safe position though.
Yes postures up.
Yes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Yes controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
It looks like Yes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ko Machine changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yes tries to avoid it but Ko Machine manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yes to the ground. Yes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Burns throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dodson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Burns is in Dodson's guard.

Burns wants to pass the guard but Dodson is keeping the position.

Di Borgo Sabottino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Di Borgo Sabottino fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Di Borgo Sabottino lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Moneymaker shoots in looking for a takedown. Di Borgo Sabottino tries to sprawl out of it but Moneymaker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Di Borgo Sabottino manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Di Borgo Sabottino misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Moneymaker tries to clinch up but Di Borgo Sabottino circles away and keeps his distance.

Moneymaker avoids a punch combination nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A bone on bone clash there as Moneymaker blocks the leg kick.

Moneymaker stumbles backwards against the cage. Di Borgo Sabottino steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Moneymaker's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Moneymaker just didn't come prepared.
