Hardpeck postures up and lands a big shot to Hays's brow.
Oh Hays is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hardpeck is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hays is breathing heavily.
Hardpeck gets to his feet and stands over Hays, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hays felt that one! Hardpeck unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hays from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dirk Hardpeck!
