Ferrera is looking to stand up but Killer isn't so interested in that idea.
Ferrera preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Killer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ferrera working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Killer.
Killer is looking to work some ground and pound but Ferrera has wrist control.
Killer prevents Ferrera from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killer scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Killer throwing strikes but missing.
Killer works over Ferrera with some ground and pound from guard.
Ferrera has momentary wrist control but Killer slips an elbow through the middle.#T1#
Killer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #ROC#

Killer stands up over Ferrera, holding on to his feet. Killer throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Ferrera is out cold! Killer lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chief Killer!
A victorious Chief Killer thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Marcelino Ferrera spoke after the fight, saying 'am sorry everybody but its life'.

Allen throws a series of punches but Burduladze moves out of range.

Burduladze has Allen up against the cage in a clinch.
Allen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Allen jumps guard and drags Burduladze to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Burduladze in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Burduladze stands up and waves to Allen to follow him.

and Burduladze counters with a straight that turns Allen's legs to rubber! Burduladze pushes forward with more strikes and Allen goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

A very excited looking Lucas Burduladze rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
