King dodges the ground and pound from Wilkins.
An elbow from Wilkins crashes against the mat.
Sloppy strikes there by Wilkins.

Wilkins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by King, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King is trying to control Wilkins's posture but Wilkins avoids it.
King is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wilkins has just dragged him back down to the mat.#T1#
Wilkins creates some space and throws a big elbow, but King sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

King could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
King is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wilkins cracks King with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena. #SUB2#
Wilkins looking for a guillotine from mount but King is having none of it.
King takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.#SUB2#
Wilkins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter. #SUB2#
King tries to buck Wilkins off so he can stand up but Wilkins has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! King falls backwards, slamming Wilkins to the mat but Wilkins holds on tight! King is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Scott Wilkins!
A very excited looking Scott Wilkins made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Hive tries to break free but Mason pushes him back against the cage.

Hive has Mason pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hive pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mason tumbling to the mat - Hive dives into Mason's guard.#ES#
Mason pushes Hive off and scrambles back to his feet. #T1##TD#
Mason throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hive was covering up waiting for the punch and Mason finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hive wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mason manages to pass to side control. #REVB##SUB#
Mason in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hive tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Mason!

King wants to stand but Koba is controlling the position.

King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Koba controls the pace.

King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
