Osborne stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mostovoy. The fighters circling - Mostovoy throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mostovoy ducks under a wild hook from Osborne. Mostovoy was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Mostovoy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jamison Hardin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Huber avoids a lazy jab quite easily. It seemed like Huber was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Hardin throws an off balance right hand
and Huber counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hardin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Huber circles away quickly and effectively. Huber slips under a jab from Hardin. Huber is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Hardin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Huber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Hardin throws a right hand that Huber ducks under and follows up with a left that Huber also avoids with ease. Huber unleashes a big counter combination but Hardin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Hardin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A slow jab from Hardin misses its intended target. Hardin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

As Hardin backs off Huber throws a huge counter combo but Hardin manages to avoid it all. Hardin steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Huber is out on his feet! Hardin sets himself and nearly takes Huber's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Serrano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hamland has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Hamland is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hamland tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hamland is trying to get back to full guard. Hamland has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Serrano wants to take a breather but Hamland is having none of it. Serrano sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hamland defending well though. Hamland is positioning himself well to prevent Serrano advancing to mount. Vartija throws a jab but it's blocked by Pena. Vartija lands with a kick to the temple. Pena shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vartija tries to bum rush Pena with a series of wild strikes but Pena uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pena is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Vartija takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Pena swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
