David's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jerkmeoffmaev is holding on here and David must be using up a lot of energy. Jerkmeoffmaev has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! David gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Yurchon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on David. That did some damage!
Yurchon throws a sloppy head kick and David moves out of range easily.
David changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yurchon tries to avoid it but David manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yurchon to the ground. Yurchon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #CL#

David pulls guard successfully.

David is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Yurchon has his hands clasped together but David extends and breaks Yurchon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by David.

David shoots in and gets a takedown into Hoover's guard.
David seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
David stands and throws Hoover's legs to the side, diving into side control.
David controls the position.
David lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hoover knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for David on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoover can't do much from the bottom here.

David is working to tighten his grip on Hoover's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hoover has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but David is really squeezing tight and eventually Hoover passes out! David breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
