#R1# Banchamek thows a body kick. Da Silva tries to catch it but that hurt him. Banchamek is looking to chop away at Da Silva's legs. Da Silva let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Da Silva wants to clinch. Da Silva avoids the head kick by Banchamek.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Da Silva checks a leg kick. #CL# Banchamek gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Da Silva is looking to take this one to the mat. Banchamek is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Da Silva tries to score a body lock takedown but Banchamek shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#BC# Banchamek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Banchamek throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Da Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CL# Banchamek clinches up against the cage. Banchamek blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Da Silva is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Banchamek is keeping busy. Banchamek throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Da Silva blocks it with crossed arms. #T1# Da Silva is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Banchamek gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Sombat Banchamek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zeca Da Silva.#BC# Banchamek breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Da Silva slips a jab from Banchamek.#CL# Banchamek closes the distance and clinches. Banchamek is looking to break free of the clinch but Da Silva has double underhooks. #BC# Banchamek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#CL# Banchamek rushes Da Silva and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#BC# Banchamek manages to break the clinch.
#CL# Banchamek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Da Silva, pushing him back against the cage. Da Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Banchamek pulls his leg out and moves away.
#CL# Banchamek has closed the distance and engaged Da Silva in a clinch.
#T2# Da Silva jumps guard but Banchamek stands there with Da Silva around his waist. Da Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
#BC# Banchamek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sombat Banchamek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Banchamek moves into the clinch.#BC# Banchamek breaks from the clinch.
#CL# Banchamek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Banchamek wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
#BC# Banchamek pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Banchamek misses with a wild body shot. Da Silva wants to counter with a clinch but Banchamek pushes him away.#CL# Banchamek instigates a clinch. #BC# Banchamek breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Banchamek wants to stand and escape but instead Da Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB##T3# Banchamek keeping moving, preventing Da Silva from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Da Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Da Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Da Silva advances position into side control! Banchamek is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Da Silva is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Da Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Banchamek knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Da Silva prevents Banchamek from escaping the position.#SUB2# Da Silva looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banchamek is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Banchamek seems a little lost for a moment, as Da Silva dominates the positioning.#T4# Da Silva wants to control but Banchamek is keeping him busy. #SUB2# Da Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Da Silva prevents Banchamek from escaping the position. Da Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB2# Da Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Banchamek tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.#SUB2# Da Silva is working for a rear naked choke. Banchamek is not defending it well and Da Silva has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Banchamek refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Banchamek's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
