Newport will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ayers being controlled here momentarily. Ayers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. #SUB# Ayers content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Newport has locked up a guillotine! Newport's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ayers is holding on here and Newport must be using up a lot of energy. Ayers has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Newport gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
