Detchana throws a head kick that misses. Carvalho stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Detchana. Detchana connects with a solid leg kick. Detchana scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carvalho doesn't seem bothered though. #CL2# Detchana has managed to clinch.
#BC2# Detchana pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Carvalho takes a body punch but keeps moving. Carvalho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Detchana swivels and escapes. Carvalho dives in and grabs Detchana's left leg, looking for a takedown. Detchana pushes down on Carvalho's head and hops out. Carvalho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Detchana as he jumps to the side. As Carvalho backs off Detchana throws a huge counter combo but Carvalho manages to avoid it all. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alphonse Carvalho. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1##CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Carvalho tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Detchana just stands there and leans against the cage. Detchana stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
