#R1# Legend tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Legend tries to clinch but Daugherty moves out of range. Daugherty swats away the attempt to clinch by Legend. Daugherty throws a jab but it's blocked by Legend. Daugherty looks to throw the jab but Legend is out of range. Legend is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daugherty sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. #TD2# Legend gets the takedown into side control. Daugherty sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Legend working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Legend scoring with strikes to the body and head. Daugherty makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Daugherty. Legend chips away with some ground and pound.#SUB# Legend avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

#R1# Swift scores with a hook.#CL# Legend gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Swift is pressed up against the cage. Legend has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Swift down to the mat. Swift avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Swift fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Swift throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
#CL# Legend fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Swift, pushing him back against the cage.#TD2# Swift is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Legend can't fight it off and eventually Swift manages to take the fight to the floor. Legend looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Legend looking for a sweep. Not yet Legend, not yet. Swift makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Swift is in close to Legend's body, working some short punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Legend is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Swift is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Legend has momentary wrist control but Swift slips an elbow through the middle. Swift with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Legend throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

#R1# Shot fails to land the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Shot as Legend shoots in. Shot tries to counter with a clinch but Legend shakes him off and moves away. Legend tries for a takedown but Shot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Legend seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Legend displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shot. Nice takedown defense from Legend. No joy for Shot on that attempt. Sigandi Legend has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Shot. Legend closes the distance and clinches up with Shot, looking for a takedown. Legend pushes Shot against the cage but Shot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#TD# Legend throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shot tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Legend is in Shot's guard.#ES2# Shot kicks Legend off and gets to his feet. Legend is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB2# Legend drops back looking for a leg! Dean is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dean manages to kick Legend off! Legend jumps back into Dean's guard. Dean keeping moving, preventing Legend from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Legend drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Legend jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Legend is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Legend trying to control the position from guard on top but Dean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Legend on the ground.#T1# Legend might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dean haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Legend should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Legend throws a big elbow that misses. Legend postures up in Tupua's guard and throws a big left but Tupua blocks it. Legend tries to free his leg and advance position but Tupua is retaining full guard. Legend has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Legend not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Legend throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Legend passes Tupua's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
