Hill tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hoost defends well and Hill ends up having to push Hoost into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.#BC2#

Hill shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoost as he avoids it easily.
Hoost lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.#KD2#

Hoost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoost wants it to stay on the feet.
A little feinted left hand from Hoost on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hoost punishes Tolstoi's body with a nice straight punch.
Hoost scores with a hook to the body. Tolstoi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Oooooh!!! Hoost has knocked Tolstoi down with a huge combo! Hoost steps away and waves a wobbly Tolstoi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Hoost will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hoost throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Tolstoi's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hoost dives in looking to finish as Tolstoi flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hoost's strikes! Hoost is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Tolstoi's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Tolstoi was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
