#R1# Ritthirong is looking to clinch. Patel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ritthirong tries to clinch but fails miserably #TD2# and Patel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ritthirong won't be happy with that. Patel slows the pace down. Ritthirong is trying to buck Patel off. Ritthirong can't do much from the bottom here. Ritthirong seems a little lost for a moment, as Patel dominates the positioning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ritthirong is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ritthirong is trying to escape the position but Patel is controlling the position. Patel in side control lands a decent elbow. #T1# Ritthirong prevents Patel from improving position. Patel advances nicely into full mount. Patel controlling from mount. Patel working away from the top, dropping strikes. Ritthirong working to try and regain half guard.

Will he be able to recover?!! Patel looking to control and managing it successfully. Ritthirong seems to have got his legs back now. Ritthirong is breathing heavily. Ritthirong takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Patel won't let Ritthirong get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Ritthirong tries to control Patel's body but Patel pushes him off. Ritthirong squirms to his side and now Patel has his back! #SUB2# Patel has managed to slip his arm under Ritthirong's chin. This could be all over... yep, Ritthirong is tapping out! Submission win for Patel.
