#R1# Jacobs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ramos is looking to counter punch. Jacobs walks into a stiff left hand from Ramos.#CL# Ramos takes the fight into the clinch. #BC# Ramos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#CL# Ramos clinches. Jacobs jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ramos walks away with a smile on his face. Jacobs gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ramos misses with a hook. Jacobs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ramos misses with an uppercut
#TD2# and Jacobs counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ramos has his feet on Jacobs's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! Jacobs takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Ramos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jacobs counters with a left and a right that stings Ramos. Jacobs dodges the punch combination from Ramos.

#T1##TD2# Jacobs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jacobs lands in his opponent's guard.#SUB# Ramos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jacobs is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ramos. Ramos sneaks back into half guard.#SUB# Ramos actively working from the bottom here.#SUB# Ramos looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB# Ramos is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jacobs pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Jacobs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jacobs throws a right and a left that Ramos avoids nicely. Jacobs is still on wobbly legs! Can Ramos finish him? Ramos leaves Jacobs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Alexsander Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Jacobs. OH! Jacobs has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Ramos smells blood and charges in for the finish! Ramos unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Jacobs sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

#R1##TD# Jacobs looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jacobs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ahmadi is keeping the position for now. Ahmadi throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Jacobs looking to pass the guard. Ahmadi keeping moving, preventing Jacobs from controlling successfully. Ahmadi throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ahmadi tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Ahmadi trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ahmadi has a closed guard, preventing Jacobs from standing up. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#T1# Jacobs throws a head kick that misses. Ahmadi gets to his feet and stands over Jacobs, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Jacobs felt that one! Ahmadi unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Jacobs from any more punishment!
