and Kwon counters with a series of strikes. Christ will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kwon swinging wildly here.
Christ rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kwon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kwon misses with a wild body shot.
A quick step to the side and Christ tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kwon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Christ.
Kwon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kwon throws a right hand that misses
and Kwon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Christ takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Christ connects with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Christ throws a hook to the side of Kwon's head but Kwon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Kwon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A quick step to the side and Christ tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jin Ho Kwon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christ catches Kwon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Christ scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #T1#
Christ swings for the body but Kwon moves out of range.
As Christ backs off Kwon throws a huge counter combo but Christ manages to avoid it all.
Kwon throws a left and a right that both miss
and Christ counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kwon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kwon duly obliges.

Kwon lands a left and a right that send Christ crashing to the mat, dazed. Kwon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC2#Christ is rocked!

Oooooh!!! Kwon has knocked Christ down with a huge combo! Kwon steps away and waves a wobbly Christ back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Christ is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Christ fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kwon scores with a crisp jab that stopped Christ in his tracks.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kwon has cracked Christ with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kwon lands another huge swinging hook and Christ tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Christ, before Kwon can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jin Ho Kwon!
Jin Ho Kwon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. |

and Poole counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Poole.
Poole wants to control from the top but Christ keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poole tries to free his leg and advance position but Christ is retaining full guard.
Christ keeping moving, preventing Poole from controlling successfully.
Poole might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Christ haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
