#R1##CL# Kowalczyk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kowalczyk tries to pull guard but Fuller forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Fuller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kowalczyk pulls his leg out and moves away.
#TD2# Fuller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kowalczyk! Kowalczyk is trying to control Fuller's posture but Fuller avoids it. Kowalczyk is trying to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowalczyk is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fuller throwing shots but Kowalczyk is blocking nicely. #T1# Fuller content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Let's hope that Fuller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Kowalczyk is looking for a sweep. Fuller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fuller is controlling the pace.

Fuller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fuller throws a counter combo.#T4##TD2# Fuller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kowalczyk tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Fuller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Fuller. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jackson Fuller dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.#R2##TD2# Fuller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kowalczyk throws Fuller to one side and escapes! Fuller tries to bum rush Kowalczyk with a series of wild strikes but Kowalczyk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD2# Fuller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fuller works his way into full mount! Fuller looking to control and managing it successfully. Kowalczyk wants to control but Fuller is having none of it.#T1# Fuller moves to take his opponent's back. #SUB2# Fuller is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Kowalczyk is tapping out! This one is all over!
