Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Valiev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Maru has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Maru and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maru, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Maru catches Di Monteggi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!#ROC2#Di Monteggi is rocked!
Di Monteggi shoots in looking for a takedown. Maru tries to sprawl out of it but Di Monteggi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Maru manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Di Monteggi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maru misses with a kick to the body.
Di Monteggi seems to have got his legs back now.
Di Monteggi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Maru.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Maru - that will leave a mark!

Maru thows a body kick. Di Monteggi tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Di Monteggi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maru - the referee stops the clock and Di Monteggi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maru. Di Monteggi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Di Monteggi is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheers as Maru lands an impressive looking overhand right. Di Monteggi doesn't seem phased though.

Maru fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Di Monteggi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Maru cracks Di Monteggi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Di Monteggi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Maru finish him?

Maru lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Di Monteggi up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Maru from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Di Monteggi's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Assmann doesn't manage to clinch there - Maru circles away.
As Assmann tries to get set, Maru tries to push him back and clinch up but Assmann manages to avoid the attempt.
Maru avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maru delivers a nice body kick.
Assmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Maru lands a glancing blow to the side of Assmann's head.

Maru circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Assmann to the canvas! Assmann doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Maru keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
