Bell shoots for a double leg takedown but Summers sprawls well. He's pushed Bell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Summers scores with a hook to the body. Bell takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bell tries to clinch but fails miserably #TD2#
and Summers counters with a single leg into guard. Bell didn't expect that.
Bell is looking to stand back up but Summers counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bell.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bell enables Summers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bell wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Summers manages to pass to side control.
Summers is taking a breather. Bell says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Summers connects with a nice short shot to Bell's temple. #SUB2#
