Mcsantos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Song throws a sloppy head kick and Mcsantos moves out of range easily. Song fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcsantos avoids it really well and circles away. Mcsantos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mcsantos is looking for a counter combo. Mcsantos keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mcsantos seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Song changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcsantos tries to avoid it but Song manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcsantos to the ground. Mcsantos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Johnny Mcsantos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lo Song. Mcsantos passes easily into side control. Nice work. Song really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcsantos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Both fighters take a look at the clock. That was a close round but I would say that Johnny Mcsantos will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lo Song's cut. Mcsantos throws a lazy head kick and Song counters with a left and a right that stings Mcsantos. Mcsantos throws a half hearted mid kick. Horrible takedown attempt by Mcsantos or perhaps it was just good defense by Song, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Song will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Song. Johnny Mcsantos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. #CL2# Song rushes Mcsantos and presses him up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Song keeps control of Mcsantos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mcsantos wants to get back to striking at distance but Song won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mcsantos lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Song has 5 minutes to recover.
