Sowler fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sowler lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Warner tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sowler is able to avoid easily.
Warner thuds his right hand into Sowler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sowler takes a swing at Warner's ribcage but misses.
Warner throws out a counter right but Sowler avoids it with no problem.
Sowler walks into a left hand.
Warner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sowler walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Sowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sowler went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sowler has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sowler and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sowler loses concentration momentarily and Warner pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Sowler crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Warner finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Warner cracks Pope with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Warner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pope is still on wobbly legs! Can Warner finish him?
Warner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pope takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pope doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Warner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pope throws out a counter right but Warner avoids it with no problem.

Warner lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pope - he's out on his feet here! Warner follows up with another monster hook that separates Pope from consciousness! Pope falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Warner stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Chess takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Warner lands a two punch combo.
A low kick from Warner misses
and Chess finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Pierce Warner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Warner tries a low kick but Chess avoids it.
Warner shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Chess tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Warner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Warner wants it to stay on the feet.
Warner feints with a jab and clips Chess right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Chess is sent crashing into the canvas and Warner leaps in for the kill! Chess tries to get to his feet but Warner is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Chess is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierce Warner!

And Basketball tries to counter it with a takedown but Warner pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Warner throws a low kick but Basketball avoids it.
And Basketball responds with a good body kick, but Warner manages to step out the way in time.
Warner scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Basketball has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Basketball there as he acknowledges the shot.
Warner connects with a looping right hand.
Warner throws a leg kick
and Basketball counters with a nice body kick.
Warner lands a jab-cross combination. #ROC#Basketball is rocked!
Basketball walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Basketball is still on wobbly legs! Can Warner finish him?
Warner scores with a jab to the jaw.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Warner lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Basketball falls backwards - clearly groggy! Warner dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
