Petrov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Veltran keeps working. Veltran pushes Petrov off looking to stand but Petrov dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petrov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Petrov prevents Veltran from standing back up.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!#R2##KD2# A jab-cross combination lands for Veltran and sends Petrov crashing to the mat! Veltran follows him down to the mat - Petrov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #CUT2#It looks like Silus Petrov has been cut. Petrov works his way to full guard. Good work. Petrov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Veltran's guard. Petrov is trying to control. Veltran wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #SUB# Petrov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Veltran sees it coming and defends easily. Veltran won't allow Petrov to pass to mount. #T2# Petrov is keen to just control but Veltran is a slippery customer.#ES2# Veltran manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Petrov keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Veltran swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Kaique Veltran showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Silus Petrov's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!#R3# Veltran swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Petrov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Petrov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Veltran throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Petrov half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Veltran enables Petrov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Veltran manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Petrov trying to control but Veltran is working from the bottom. Petrov throwing strikes but missing. #T1# Veltran wants to get back to his feet but Petrov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Petrov slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Nope, Veltran has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Petrov can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Veltran is looking to escape. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Veltran really wants to buck Petrov off and get back to his feet. Petrov wants to take his opponent's back but Veltran doesn't allow it. Veltran is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Petrov wants to take his opponent's back but Veltran doesn't allow it. Veltran is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
