and Mata counters with a nice body shot.
Mata connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kidd momentarily.
Kidd with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Mata to counter with a crisp jab.
Kidd shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mata but Mata pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Kidd. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2#

Boar stuns Kidd with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kidd is looking to clinch.
Kidd swings for the body but Boar moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Kidd 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boar circles away from the clinch attempt
and Boar counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kason Boar!
Kason Boar tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. |

Azuki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Kidd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Azuki swivels and escapes.
Kidd closes the distance and clinches up with Azuki, looking for a takedown. Kidd pushes Azuki against the cage but Azuki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kidd tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Azuki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#KD#
Azuki lands a left and a right that send Kidd crashing to the mat, dazed. Azuki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#Kidd is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Azuki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Azuki throws a big counter combination but Kidd scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Kidd is still on wobbly legs! Can Azuki finish him?
Crack! A monster head kick from Azuki and Kidd falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Azuki!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kidd enables FZ to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kidd manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
FZ controls from within his opponent's guard.

Kidd is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
FZ stays in close to Kidd's body and controls the position.
Kidd wants to stand up but FZ is controlling him.
FZ scoring with punches to the head and body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
FZ prevents Kidd from getting back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
FZ is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kidd will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Let's hope that FZ has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
