#R1# FZ shoots in looking for a takedown but Roberts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing FZ's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. FZ has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT2#It looks like George FZ has been cut.#TD# FZ closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roberts did well to prevent FZ getting side control. FZ content to control rather than advance. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Roberts can do anything to dispel that myth. Roberts wants to get back to full guard. Roberts trying to hold on to FZ's head to control him but FZ postures up.
FZ is trying to control the action in half guard but Roberts is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roberts wants to improve his position but FZ is controlling well.

Roberts keeping moving, preventing FZ from controlling successfully. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. FZ tries to free his leg and advance position but Roberts is retaining full guard. Roberts wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. Roberts can't keep his opponent in guard - FZ advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. FZ looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. FZ wants to lay and pray for a moment but Roberts keeps working. #SUB# FZ wants to work for an arm triangle but Roberts is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Roberts is looking to escape.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. FZ is nestled in close to Roberts, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Roberts is doing well to control the position and prevent FZ from advancing to side control.#SUB# FZ is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Roberts sees it coming and defends easily. FZ thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Roberts's head. Roberts is looking for a sweep. FZ is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#SUB# FZ looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Roberts avoiding damage under a succession of punches from FZ. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that's the end of the fight! George FZ showed his dominance in that final round. Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Kidd enables FZ to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kidd manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. FZ controls from within his opponent's guard. Kidd keeping full guard, as FZ tries to pass. Kidd is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. FZ stays in close to Kidd's body and controls the position. Kidd wants to stand up but FZ is controlling him. FZ scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. FZ prevents Kidd from getting back to his feet. FZ stays in close to Kidd's body and controls the position. FZ must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#T1# The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. FZ preventing the sweep.
