Pulisic is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pulisic keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hopkins avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hopkins shoots for a takedown but Pulisic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pulisic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hopkins manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hopkins changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
A jab from Pulisic does it's job there.

Pulisic has Hopkins pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Hopkins is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Pulisic - that's hurt Hopkins badly! Oh, another knee lands and Hopkins is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Hopkins doesn't seem to be complaining.

Some wild striking there from Pulisic.
Finley tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pulisic tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Finley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pulisic wants to stand but Finley has his arm trapped.

Finley seems to have recovered his senses.
Finley tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pulisic tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
