Curls is taking a breather. Tackashei says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Curls's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Tackashei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Curls. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hancock swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tackashei moves in looking to clinch but Hancock pushes him off. Tackashei moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Tackashei takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tackashei on the wrong end of a nice jab. Tackashei throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hancock lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tackashei at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tackashei looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hancock defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tackashei. Hancock dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Tackashei shoots in looking for a takedown but Hancock manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tackashei's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tackashei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

#R1# A combination from Beckley does no damage. A nice side step and Tackashei releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Beckley punishes Tackashei's body with a nice straight punch. Beckley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Factory in the buildup to the fight. Beckley tries to bum rush Tackashei with a series of wild strikes but Tackashei uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tackashei drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Beckley defends it well.#CL# Beckley has closed the distance and engaged Tackashei in a clinch.
